This traditional Maharashtrian celebration, held during the Makar Sankranti season, is a heartfelt expression of goodwill, cultural unity, and the enduring strength of womanhood. NGO Women exchanged haldi (turmeric) and kunku (vermilion) as tokens of respect and blessings for happiness and prosperity with all other women participants.
