Participation at Exhibition for Promoting Diwali Handicrafts made by 30 needy women working from their homes, at Satav Hall, Sahakarnagar, organized by Durga Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha
Date:28th October to 29th October 2023
While promoting Handmade Diwali creations such as lanterns, Agarbattis, diyas, gift hampers etc. at our exhibition stall, our focus this time was also on promoting beautiful Kantha work stoles and dupatta made by Women from Gawaliwada, Sahakarnagar, Pune and some from Krishna Nagar, West Bengal.
It’s always a pleasure for our NGO women to showcase their creativity at such events and proudly talk and share about their experience with handmade creation with the visitors. We distributed Pamphlets and Visiting cards with all the visitors and wellwishers to revisit our NGO creations at our Sahakarnagar workshop. The event was graced by the management committee of Janata Sahakari bank as chief guest and management committee of Durga Patsanstha. The NGO stall had an overwhelming response for all the handmade decorative items and hand stitched Stoles and dupattas.
Donations: Stall was sponsored by our volunteers.
Raw Material was provided to the ladies to make Diwali Lanterns, Diyas and gift hampers for Exhibition stalls. Both raw material and Printing charges for Pamphlets and visiting cards were also borne by the NGO.

New Year Celebration and Recreational Activities for NGO Women
Date: 6th Jan 2022
An yearly Event is organized for NGO women to celebrate the joy together. Games and activities are conducted to boost the team spirit among themselves. Such activities play a major role in Personal Development and Growth. We played games such as Housie, passing the parcel and Glass game etc. By playing Games and fun activities, stress levels are reduced and their self Esteem and Self Reliance increases. We love celebrating those unknown birthdays of our women and their happiness on this New Year’s day by cutting cake and enhancing their pleasure. Most of our women come from a stressed background, which leads to many psychological as well as physical Health issues. Cherry on the cake was that all the refreshments this time were prepared by our own NGO women and the event was immensely satisfactory.
Donations : Useful Gifts and chocolates are given to all our NGO women as a token of appreciation for their struggle and work they do under NGO. 25 Mix kurtas / sarees were Gifted / donated to all ladies associated with Corvee Foundation.
